Bigfoot Health Basketball is a not-for-profit youth basketball program for boys and girls, from grade school through high school. The aim of BHB is to provide a positive, supportive atmosphere for youth basketball development. Bigfoot Health Basketball includes individual and team training, as well as, highly competitive games and tournaments.
Through ongoing direct dialogue, teams and families identify their goals regularly – communication between parents and staff is encouraged!! New players are developed carefully, emphasizing friendship and fun. As players and teams bond together, mastery of skills and team concepts become the focus, gradually growing into advanced training and advanced competition.
Specifically, Bigfoot Health Basketball players that are younger and may be new to the game of basketball, will learn the fundamentals, and will focus on fun as the primary goal of practices and games – yay!!! Our players that are older and more experienced, will benefit from specific advanced instruction. They will also work toward a mastery of team concepts. These new skills will be tested at competitive tournaments primarily in the Triangle Area of North Carolina.
Bigfoot health basketball is a team effort, combining input from all of the families involved. Players and their parents, coaches and directors, all work together to create a custom fit basketball experience for each family. Together, we are better!!
Many people, in many roles, make up the team effort that fuels the success of Bigfoot Health Basketball. Much thanks to many!!!
Sincerely,
Kirk Woelffer, Director
