Introducing our Three Newest Team Members

Rhea

About Me

Hello! I’m Rhea, one of the new members of the Bigfoot College Crew. I’m so excited to be a part of the team!

I’m from Plymouth, Minnesota. Currently, I’m a Psychology/Asian Studies junior at St. Olaf College on the clinical psychology/public health track. When I’m not studying, I’m involved in my school’s Public Health club and South Asian student union! I also like to make earrings! I have my own business called “Rhea’s Originals”, where I like to make earrings out of shrink plastic. Outside of school and business endeavors, I’m also a huge travel lover. My favorite aspect about traveling is exploring and learning about so many different cultures (and trying all of the different cuisines). I’ve been to about twenty different countries, including China, India, Australia, and Belize!

My Health Philosophy

Health and wellness” for me is the focus that health encompasses ALL aspects of health. A healthy individual is not only someone with a healthy body but with a healthy mind and soul as well! As I am on the clinical psychology and public health track, I aim to not only treat my patients, but I also want to examine all of the many underlying factors that can promote certain mental conditions: thinking about looking at people themselves, their living conditions, and the overarching societal factors. I believe that as important as it is looking at these factors by themselves, it’s important to see how they intersect with each other through public health. As a part of the Bigfoot Health team, I want to focus content on public health, especially public and community mental health, and work towards health promotion!

Suley

About Me

Hey there! My name is Suleyman, but you all can call me Suley. I am one of the newest interns at Bigfoot Health. I am pleased to be part of a team like this.

I am currently a Junior at St. Olaf College studying Economics and Stats/Data Science in Northfield, Minnesota. Being a data analyst is what I aspire to be in the future. I am from the Northside of Chicago. Love spending time with family and friends, also playing sports such as basketball and soccer. I have also picked up juggling this past fall and have been working on this craft during the busy semester.

Health Philosophy

I am truly interested in the nuts and bolts of Bigfoot Health, I’m here to help research on how we could grow the Bigfoot Team, to analyze the best resource of information to widen the follower base. This could involve understanding social media algorithms that allow more viewers to check out our organization. I have learned and researched how information has transformed problem-solving in my classes and I hope to use these skills to grasp followers. Being a Data Science concentrator has led me to view a new side of the information world.

Lauren & Addy

About Me

Hey there! I’m Lauren, a new member of the Bigfoot Health College Crew. I can’t wait to get into all things Health and Wellness with y’all!

I am currently a sophomore Biology student at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. I am on a Genetic Counseling track and I love learning ALL things about the human body. I am a huge people person, so I love to volunteer in all things dealing with people in my free time. My all-time passions include EVERYTHING outdoors, music, and cooking/discovering new food. As someone who takes pleasure in the beautiful variety of life, I love doing spontaneous and adventurous things. Life is too short, get out there and see what the world has to offer! Go BIG!

Health Philosophy

At BFH, I can’t wait to network with ALL types of people. I am also very excited to offer my Biology background to study health and wellness at a more acute level within genetics and bodily processes! However, I think a huge part of health and wellness is how humans can relate to each other and help each other out. The world is a big and lonely place at times, and we need to rely on each other. I aim to promote not only self help, but also helping those around me be the best they can be as well. Something I strive for in my life is to be the best version of myself, and I want to help others achieve that!
